Raising the brightness?

Posted by Sk2k52

My computers monitors picture is very dark, despite raising it to the brightest settings and bringing the colors as high as possible. For the most part, this is a negligible problem, as most of the darker games allows you to raise the gamma, though some doesn't.

I was wondeirng if anyone knew where and the name of the program I could get to raise my screens brightness? I had one awhile ago and made my attempts of getting it back, but I sadly can't remember its name.

Feedback is appreciated.

Adobe Photoshop installs its own monitor calibrator that users can run and adjust their monitors whiteness, brightness and colour settings, saturation and so forth. The program is called Adobe Gamma, which I am not certain can be downloaded as a standalone program; if you can find it, I'm sure it will be more than helpful to correct your monitors display. I used to use it with my old CRT monitors with wonderful results.
