If you didn't know, you do now!
Triple Triad is the closest thing on this forum to skill based battles between players. I don't think it's right that everyone is ignoring it, so if you haven't played the game, at least try it!
Also, there's that guide I made for it if you're confused about rules-

Doing CPU battles for all eternity does not cut it for me. Groups of people playing this game have been shown to be very successful, and the same can happen here. Unlike the battles in the RPG, matches do not get deleted automatically, so you don't have to arrange a preset time to battle. Plus, it's a lot more fun than seeing who can go first to OHK the other player...
Frankly, I've come to the conclustion that the lack of players is due to lack of awareness, so once again- play the game!
You've been challenged. I played all the time on another site, but this version sucks as it doesn't even include all the rules. You basically win if you have all the high level cards.
I'll think about it.

Let's do this thing... maybe I should do play by play action? Lol.
Or I was wrong and the games will all result in stalemates.
Jesse should fix the game so that ALL the Triple Triad rules are in it.
Darn it, I was toast the instant I played Doomtrain on the field. You keep taking advantage of that missing rule!
Lv. 1 matches are a little more, *cough*, strategic. AND WE ARE DOING OPEN HANDS. plz?
We're going to have another match with only level one cards, savvy?
And I wish I knew how I won since my last card had a 2 on the left.
EDIT: Also, if you didn't know, level one cards are only found above the level 10s in your collection. Makes it really easy to sort them from the others.
That's the missing rule, remember? If it was in the game, I probably would have won... :(
EDIT: Jesse, you don't NEED skill to win these battles... you just need a lot of wackler! And you have that! I'm sure there are plenty of people on this forum with less skill than you.
I wouldn't even know how to change the rules!!!! I think I would have to know php!!!
All right, time for the first ever "battle report!"
Sean The Wicked's Hand:
Blood Soul
Gayla
Cockatrice
RedBat
Gesper
GameMiestro's Hand:
Gayla
Caterchipillar
Fastitocalo-F
Blobra
Cockatrice

Sean's hand seems to focus on powerful numbers for each side, while mine focuses on solid eveness throughout. Both strategies can be very powerful. Sean starts off with a Gayla, which is a very good move, and he probably knows it. I could capture it, but that would leave my monster open to attack... therefore, I just try to defend myself with a Gayla of my own. However, Sean's monsters have some very high stats...

...making any attempt to avoid capture impossible. I noticed that every card in Sean's hand except one has a right value of one, and I was determined to take advantage of it. At the moment, I had to deal with trying to hack in to Sean's newly formed wall of monsters. I play Blobra, expecting it to be quickly captured. Sean plays Gayla in the upper left. I'm not sure what he saw there, but it was a bit of a relief to me, as I had gotten myself into a bad situation.

I quickly calculated every possible scenario, and decided that I would have a guarunteed win if I played Cockatrice in the middle top. I fully expected Blobra to be captured, but once again, he remained unharmed. The rest of the game is self explanatory. Me wins, 6-4.
Okay, it's a little sad that my specialty is lv. monster matches. However, I don't like having those Edea-like A,A corner values that make cards impossible to counter. So technically, the overall score is 1-1.
EDIT: You can take one of your opponents cards for winning? Interesting. I still think we should each get our own custom cards, and the only way other people would collect them is beating the player... sort of like Gym Leaders in Pokemon.
Yeah, sorry about that delay, I just finished installing a new game.
Another match later or tommorow or something I reckon.
What do you think about the "gym leader" idea? Even bots could be made to play certain cards, which could be won at victory... the possibilities are facinating.
Any comments on strategy, or just thoughts (I DO want to improve, you know)?
