Out of curiosity, why does Jess refuse to do name changes?
People complain when we have name changes. ie...er who are you again??!!! Two years later...What the???? You're XXXXXX?? I had no idea!!!!

Can't you just have a thread that contains a list of username changes?
Or force their title to be "Previously known as _____" for a week?
He did, once. And everyone read it, and thought it was helpful.
Name changes used to be allowed all the time, but a while ago, people started abusing it, and changing their username every 2 days. So you can't get them anymore.
Then just make a limit. One change per year, or something. And only if the requester has been around for a while, like 500+ posts at least.
Wouldn't it make sense to... you know, limit it?
