Ok I have a linksys wireless g broadband router. My next door neighbors have their laptops and home computer hooked up to my network connection. I have to pay a high internet bill and they are mooching off me for free. How to I secure my network so they can't use it anymore.

I think the solution is to assign a network key, and/or leave a bag of flaming dog crap on their doorstep.

as far as what to do, i'm of no help but i'm sure there's a few people around here who can. my father had the same problem, but our neighbor was actually accessing my dads 'puter and changing his settings. $500 later for a new router and to have someone come in and reconfigure both his and my mom's computers so the idiot couldn't get on anymore.... the problem seems to be resolved. it was creepy though because when you logged onto the linksys router webpage to monitor usage, you could see 3 different computers hooked up - Dad, Mom, and "Meghan". FBI actually got involved and took my dad's puter for a week to see if it was a case of identity theft in the works.
You go over to their house and tell them to get the hell off your network...
GameMiestro its not that easy the won't get off. I just need to put on a wep password or somthing like that but i don't know how to do it.
