The physics are changed, there's some new features (Wall Jump Boots), and... yeah, I haven't gotten too far into it, so try it yourself. Pretty **** good so far.
You need to apply the patch to a Super Metroid rom. Use [url=http://fusoya.panicus.org/lips/index.html]LunarIPS[/url] to apply it. No linkies to roms, though.

I love IPS patches. I have about 15 different hacked versions of Mario Kart, and even more versions of Final Fantasy VI. :(
