Regarding Sora

Dive to the heart was Sora's awakening, the beginning to his story, and the beginning to something amazing. Sora dreams that he is falling, falling away from his friends, falling into...darkness? He lands on a picture of a beautiful woman, and subsequently is guided by a mysterious voice to similar round portraits of women who later turn out to be the Princess of Heart. Could it of been their combined light guiding Sora on his path? Nonetheless, Sora follows the path as he goes, finding no way out other than to trust this mystery person. He acquires a sword during this, to fend off Shadow Heartless and in the end, he reaches Darkside, quite easily the largest pure formed Heartless in existence. He fights it with all his might and conquers it. Maybe it was more then just a dream, perhaps it was a preliminary test...for a future Keyblade Master.

In the true beginning, Riku was chosen to wield the Keyblade as Keyblade Master. He turned away from the light, choosing the darkness in place so that he could obtain power, because he was jealous of Sora, though the feeling was mutual and neither knew, Riku was whisked away to another world. Sora, befuddled by his friend's choices and disappearance, fights in his mind what to do next when the Keyblade appears in his hands. Fight? Upon seeing the approaching Shadow Heartless, he doesn't have much of a choice, and fends them off quite easily. A powerful heart, no? Then, Sora comes upon Darkside once more. He fights the creature and defeats it, almost Dejavu, as if...it happened before? Sora awakens in Traverse Town.

Crossroads. Which path is the right path? A mysterious man beckons Sora. Sora goes to the right and arrives at Castle Oblivion, home to the Nobodies, the spirit of those who live on without Hearts. Upon entering the castle, Sora and Donald and Goofy begin to lose their memories, subsequently severing the ties and bonds they had formed with their friends over their journey to save the worlds. Fragments of memories remain, but nothing whole, is this what being a Nobody is like? Sora and his friends conquer the castle, defeating most of its inhabitants, and Sora is put into a deep sleep whilst his memories are restored.

A new path appears when Sora awakens, new worlds to save, new friends to meet, and new powers to acquire. On his journey, he learns of four powerful transformations he can use by combining his own light with that of his friends: Valor Form, based off strength by combining with Goofy, Wisdom Form, based off magic by combining with Donald, Master Form, an equilibrium of the two by combing with both friends, and Final Form which pulls out the true power of the Keyblade. In the end, Sora managed to conquer the power of darkness once more with aid from his closest friends and return home.

[I]The Comparison between Sora, Anti-Form, and Darkside is almost blindingly obvious which is why I think no one has noticed. If you were unable to understand everything I said, I was trying to allude to the possibility of Darkside being the dark side of Sora. He conquers Darkside in his

I noticed towards the end of KHII, Sora became more and more assholic. For example, when they were fighting the Nobodies, Sora yelled at them and Donald chastised Sora saying, "Don't antagonize them!"

or Roxas.

Like I said over AIM, I think Sora was starting to feel alone and angsty from not being with Riku or Kairi for so long, since they were his best friends and all. Sora hadn't seen Kairi since the end of KHI, and he is clearly in love with her (though I do not believe he understands these feelings completely yet) and believed Riku was dead until near the end of KHII.

or what Stalolin said. That makes sense too.

I haven't really come to a conclusion about the Twilight Thorn yet. Still doing research, I'll get back to you.

That all makes sense, but I still don't understand about Riku. Why did he fight the same Darkside? It didn't look any different than Sora's. Are they all the same maybe? But that still doesn't make sense since Darkside appears to be modeled after Sora himself.

And in regards to the Twilight Thorn, I have a theory.

Every Nobody has a "true" nobody form, a form shapeless to your former appearance that has nothing to do with your heart. Since all Heartless leave shells which make Nobodies, those "shells" all fall under a category. Those categories are the dusk, samurai, dragoon, etc...

And although the people with really powerful hearts keep their previous appearances (to an extent), they also fall under their own categories. Roxas' would be the Thorn, and another example would be the giant Nobody Marluxia half transformed into.
