This is inspired by the mod approval ratings thread, I thought it'd be good to give mods a chance to talk back to members.
My only problem is sometimes when I don't see my board for a couple of days and I find a thread that should be deleted, I wish people would tell me if there's a really bad thread in there sometimes. Only notification I've ever gotten is when Wings alerted me to some Digimon porn, which I cleared up right away.
And stop spamming the living daylights out of the AIM board.
I'd appreciate it if more of you yelled at Jesse to quit undoing my work. A petition would be nice. Or a mass evacuation until he stops.
I don't like the constant attacks from you guys if I merge some things. Some of the S-mods agree with my merging decisions, so I'd apprec if you guys kind of took it easy on me.
And yeah, OT is clean. So stop being mean to me without reason. Please. :(
I think it's annoying that when I don't post, people think I'm gone and absent for months. I'm here, guys >_>
Shi, deleted instead of edited.

I think this hole mod and super mod thing is getting over rated, just because you don't like some thing you can delete it,that's not really fair , why not let every one be a mod I'v seen some stupid ignorent posts by some mods. I keep my posts consistant and I visit frequent. just because I'm missing two fingers and I miss spell something people delete my posts or say I'm a idiot because I miss spelled something. you can call jesse a idiot and a moron and complain to him all you wan't what's he really going to do.
There is a feature that shows the last time you logged in.
And posted.
People who leave generally give a heads up in the mod or community board, but when they don't, you can kind of tell when they're gone. Chances are they notified atleast one person, so word gets around.
Not saying that the asterisk thing is a bad idea, mind you. I've got a feeling Jesse wouldn't be too concerned with it unless it was an extended absence.
If something needs to be reported, chances are you're not looking at your boards very well. Not saying that's the case with you, as you were obviously absent, but reporting to an absent mod is equally pointless.
Can't really argue with that. It still just kind of annoys me that if something does manage to slip by me, no one ever cares to report it just in case.
Indeed, VGC is my homepage and I'm set to log in automatically. That means I log in every time I open IE.
...Why do you use IE?
I'd prefer it if the other DA-ers didn't overrun threads like they have done in the past. It's all very funny, guys, but keep it off my boards. It makes us all look bad. :(
My board is good, though I would like to press newer members to use the help thread at the top instead of creating a new thread.
Aside from that, those who frequent the Megaman board, keep being awesome.
The music board is fairly easy is to mod. My only complaint is people like basterd who make threads that either already exist, are completely idiotic, or are all shallow topics over the same genre of music. Besides that, there's nothing bad about modding that board at all.
Oh, I got my tax return in the other day, so I'll have a new router by next week; meaning, I'll be on more often, I'll have AIM/MSN again, and I can finally get some new music without spending too much money.
How often do I do this? I'm being serious. I consider "overrunning" a thread in which the entire original point is completely lost, in which case, I can't think of one time I've done it in the recent past.
You don't do it in *every* thread you post in, but it's enough to **** me off when it happens. Keep it to DA. Sorry. :(
SHUT UP YOU HOMO.
Just kidding. As a minor blog mod (if it's a major blog, does that make me a sub-major mod?), I'm personally sick of it when people don't obey a moderator's judgement (no pun intended), especially when they create a thread to complain about it or a duplicate thread of what the previously locked, moved, or deleted thread was. Srsly guys.
I've gotten several reported posts, and I'd like to appreciate anyone that has done so. I would also like if you guys would send some unruly threads my way, just in case I missed any.

Because it works perfectly, has better compatibility with websites than any other browser, I know how to use it and I'm not an anti-Microsoft whore.
Has basterd been banned before?
'Cause it wouldn't surprise me.
Yeah well these DA guys AIM me and raise my warning level.
Real stupid stuff like that. The fact that they edit my posts
there and the flaming my posts elsewhere give me that
feeling although I'm not much one to listen to them now.
As you can see I'll use this posting format now.
Editing your post? On the main boards?
Now that I'm a mod again, the only thing I can say is to work with us instead of against us. We want the board to be as good as possible as much as you do. Instead of trying to lead any revolutions, just talk with a mod who understands you about your objections, and he or she can help.
I like things pretty much as they are. I act like a moderator more or less - god knows I've been here over three years now, and I can say I'm pretty happy with the way things are being run today.
Sure you want to say that out in the open? I can delete that to save you from a hail of flames and embarassment. :/
I hate when people think that it's clever to just post "AHA, YOU'RE IN FOR IT NOW" or "DOPEY C*NT, THIS BELONGS IN BOARD HELP AND SUGGESTIONS" or "get off my internet!" in response to threads and posts which should be deleted. Just keep the f*ck out and leave the moderating to the moderators. Report it if you want, that's helpful in fact so please do, but being brash is not helping at all, and in some cases can be somewhat detrimental. The above post is a perfect example of this.
Thread ruiners can f*ck off too. Keep it to yourself if you're starting sh*t (which most of you do ALL THE F*CKING TIME), and keep it to AIM if you're just spewing it.
Also, if you're going to be a c*nt then stay the hell out of the intro board. There are just a handful of total dickheads who just go around the intro board and seemingly going out of their ways to be asses. Leave it out.
