Eh, I see dead birds on the footpath to class all the time. Nobody ever really cleans them up, to my knowledge, because they always stay there for days and days on end.
I never see a dead bird longer than a day. Not that anyone picks them up, but I don't doubt animals get to them relatively quickly.
I don't see a lot of dead birds, but a lot of dead rabbits. Living on a mesa, there are a bunch of them, and sometimes whole groups get smashed at once. Right now, there are about 3 dead rabbits on my street. Nobody cleans them up.
I don't know why I started laughing at that, but now I can't stop.
sigh, I hate these people.
