Yeah. Just pick a few games, and say what you most remember. Then we can all get all "nostalgic" together.
Metroid Prime Hunters: -When one of those big, four legged monsters FELL ON MY HEAD right as I walked through a door in the Celestial Archives. It nearly gave me a heart attack...
-Going through the lava maze to get the UA expansion. That was pretty insane, and I made a reference to it in that fake "customer service" letter.
Metroid Fusion: -Seeing the missles fall back to the ground in the beginning of the battle with Nightmare.
-Torturing the SA-X, before the end fight (this particularly works the first time you can actually get to him. Quickly jump down and shoot, jump back up onto the ledge, watch the SA-X walk to wall you were at, give up, and start to exit. Repeat. :D)
Metroid Zero Mission: -Watching all of the Space Pirates fall back to earth after blowing up the bridge they were chasing me on.
Metroid: Getting those first missles...
Frying Draygon via Grapple Beam and broken turret.
Nothing will ever match the end of Super Metroid. Mother Brain breaks out her death ray and just about kills you, and I said "I am so @#$%ed." Then the Metroid that Samus saved barreled into the room, and I said, "I am even more @#$%ed." Then the Metroid started sucking the life out of Mother Brain, and I said "I am even more... wait, what the @#$%?" Then the Metroid floats over to me and starts sucking more life out of me and I think "So I'm @#$%ed after all." Then, as if my mind couldn't be more blown, I realize I'm actually being recharged... and I gained Mother Brain's death ray. So I said "Mother Brain... is so @#$%ed."
Not that I actually swore, but that's what it felt like.
-The Piston Cave in Hunters. Hated every moment of it, but man, it was memorable.
-In a multiplayer match in Processer Core, I ran onto a boostpad, while charging the Magmaul. An enemy Samus ran onto the boostpad, right as I reached the apex of my jump. I shot diectly downwards, headshotting him and scoring a OHK as he flew at me. Fun.
-Spending 3 HOURS trying to get one lousy powerbomb tank in Metroid Fusion, before I realized I could break through speed booster blocks by jumping after I had hit top speed.
-Watching Ridley come to life in Fusion :D
Most embarassing moment.
When I first got Metroid Fusion Arachnus-X whupped my butt a few times. Then when I first killed it the X-Core tackled and killed me... -.-;
-Beating Ridleys core-X, without touching the ground.
-Getting all of the hunters for Multiplayer mode before even unlocking Arcterra (gotta love those anonymous rivals)
Fusion: Entire battle with Nightmare and the fight with whatever that spider was called.
Prime: Sitting down one afternoon and playing it for four hours straight. That game looked ****ing beautiful for its time (hell, still does).
