At the end of the game when I was fighting the final boss, I looked in the inventory menu and it said I had 186 dogtags, but I know that couldn't be right because I only got like 92. And when I finished the game and started a new one, I checked and it went back to 92 dogtags... What happened? I don't use any of those actionsharks or anything, so it wasn't a glitch.

the reason that it went back was because of 2 reasons 1 is that it shows howmany youve aquired by all levels total ex. easy 56 normal 44 very easy 100 and the 2 reason is that when your fighting solidous you have a time parodox (not like mgs3) the only other time this is possible is in the hangar when your naked
the reason this happens is that it adds up all the tags from all difficultys
That's pretty awesome how they would take the time to make everything go with the story that way.
