Eh, Kirby:CC wasn't the first game where you're in a painting and it also won't be the last. Hell, it isn't even the most recent (Oblivion). So if CV does it, I doubt anyone will be "zomg rip-off", rather, I have a feeling most people will enjoy it.

Well, Kirby:CC was still a great game. Even my friend who considered Nintendo "Kiddy" and hated all my DS games loved it. I was just pointing out it won't be the first of its kind to come to the DS.
There's n othing cute about castlevania characters, in the anime sense you're talking about. It looks like normal anime, not chibi. That's "cutesy".

Man, I wish they could've stuck with the upgradeable weapons like in DoS, that was cool. Julius mode with his weapons wasn't as fun.
As for the artwork, it looks they're taking lessons from the people who made FFX.

I saw the artwork for the DoS Castlevania, I guess it was, and it sickened me! Anime?! If Castlevania's going to go anime, it better be dark, edgy, gritty, bloody anime.
I totally dug the art for the latest CV for PS2, though, what with the crazy leather and whatnot.
A part of me dies whenever I see that Simon art that Ayami Kojima made. :(

I'm glad they're sticking with the same formula. I like the exploration and Metroid feel to the games. It gives me more of a reason to play, rather than a simple platfromer.

Oh man, judging from the map screen of the Misty Village this might be the biggest Castlevania ever. If the castle and the paintings are each about as big as the castles from previous games... Lots of exploring. =3
I hope this one is better than the first one on DS, never really got into that game.
Well, my friend wasn't too fond of it either, but he loved Julius mode once he unlocked it. Said he liked having the whip and all of Julius's weapons, so maybe Apathetic here will like playing as a Belmont more.
...PoR does have a Belmont as the primary protagonist, right?
He's related, but he's a Morris. Meaning, he can use the Vampire Killer, but not to it's full potential. I believe Charlotte is also related, but I can't recall.
Do you if we can still get weapons like the Claimh Solais in this game? 'Cause that would be beastly.
No clue. I know there's supposed to be extra weapons, but what those are, I couldn't say.
Claimh Solais sucks. All about Valmanway

Death Scythe sucks. Takes too long, sure it does major damage and has that cool death special attack, but its slow, and it sucks. Valmanway may not be the strongest weapon, but the multi hits make boss rush mode ****ing easy, where as the death scythe would be like... so ****ing slow.
I prefer the heavy overhead swing weapons. >_>
I like the whip sword. Too bad it always sucks by the time you get halfway through.

Nunchucks on certain bosses not all. I mean, sure you can hit infinitely, but since the valmanway has a pause, I use my magic in place of the hit. So I do keep doing "straight" hits all the way through, as opposed if I went with the nunchucks, id be doing far less damage man shade you really suck at castlevania dont you you big ****** baby fag
