Halo 2. The online multiplayer is as fun as the single player is boring. There's nothing unique or amazing about its gameplay. It's just solid and well balanced, and it rewards skill so well that it easily becomes addictive. I've spent many hours matchmaking on that game.
At a close second, it'd be Mortal Kombat: Deception (PS2). Despite the quitters, when you have 20 straight bouts with the same person, every match becomes an epic battle of its own. The fact that its the best MK to date doesn't hurt, either. As in, if any MK should be online, it's certainly this one.

i have only played runescape and thats pretty fun im ok at and it got boring after you do all free quest
