The old days of Disney

Posted by maian

So, what do you all think about Disney? Sure, now it sucks, but Disney used to be my favorite movie company, no contest. Old movies never fail to entertain me, such as Lion King, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, etc..

So, what's your favorite Disney movie? And what do you think about Disney now? >_>

Robin Hood and Aladdin are my two favorite Disney movies ever. Disney is pretty lame now. Pumping out sequels to all their movies. T_T

To this day Robin Hood is one of my favourite movies. Junglebook is pretty rad also. Like Zeta said, they've just become ridiculous.

Robin Hood 'n' Little John
Walking through the forest
Ooh-da lolly ooh-da lolly
Golly what a day.

Man, now I really want to watch that. :(

Disney is becoming too focused on pop culture references. Movies then have a time tie, and are no longer timeless.

Hercules and Mulan are my picks.

Posted by Zeta

Oh! I forgot about Hercules! Wasn't there a Scar cameo in that?

I was and Still am a big fan of the Lion King. It was trully the first movie I played over and over when I was a young one.

Sword in the Stone

"HAVE OFF IT...HAVE OFF IT!"
"Blast me to bermuda!"

merlin is a funny dude...

I forgot about that, too. :( That was definately one of my faves.

Why does my memory suck so much?

The last great Disney movie was either Toy Story or The Emperor's New Groove.

Posted by maian

Toy Story was made long ago, like in '96, while the Emporer's New Groove was made much later. o_O

Yeah, the Scar cameo in Hercules is when Herc is posing for the painter guy. :-*

I owned and loved several (around 40) Disney movies when I was young. I can't possibly remember them all, but here are the ones I liked the most:

Sword In The Stone
Robin Hood
Jungle Book
Lion King
Hercules
Aladdin

and when I was really young...

Winnie The Pooh

As for disney now, I agree with Fate. WAY too wrapped up in today's youth pop-culture. It's sickening to say the least. :(

My favorites were:
1.Toy Story
2.Hercules
3.Mulan

Those movies still entertain me.
Anyways disney should retire at making movies.

Toy Story, I've seen that movie sooooo many times.

but they won't, considering they're a multibillion dollar corporation that owns other movie companies, such as miramax and touchstone.
