I used to be Troopa but apparently I can't login to that account anymore, so I created a new one. I'm the webmaster of Mario Kart Central, one of the most visited fan sites for the kart racing game.
Anyway, just saying what's up and I plan to be a fairly active poster. Maybe. ;)

I rarely play MKDS anymore but yeah, I used to snake and still can to an extent. My record was like 320-11 when I quit. I wouldn't snake if someone asked me not to.

Welcome. D.J Cat is my business partner, so you're sure to see me around often. Also, Diddy Kong Racing's superior to Mario Kart 64.
Three vehicles to choose from instead of one, more divergent levels that are far more attractive and memorable, and a set of wonderfully furry characters to go along with it. Conker and Banjo can beat Mario and Peach in a race anyday. Catching the eggs or collecting those coins in the multiplayer mode is exceptionally enjoyable, more satisfying than what I can find in Mario Kart 64. Mario Kart 64 is my least favorite out of the Mario Kart games. I prefer the Super Nintendo and Game Cube version over the 64 version, by far.
Dex is wrong. MK64 has superior multiplayer. And MKDD is garbage compared to the 64 game.
LOL. Well, no one is "wrong" - we just have different feelings and opinions.
I did a poll of many people, and the results were that MK64 had better multiplayer while Diddy had better single player. MK64 + 3 friends + Block Fort Battle Mode = hours of fun.
My personal favorite is the original Super Mario Kart, followed by the new Mario Kart DS.
