You just realized this? Wizards stopped making the cards years ago.
I would think that the copyright 2006 would be a rather clear contridiction of this, unless its a misprint.
I havent really had anything to do with the game since they released like, base set 2. So I dont really know, but I'd bet that google does.

Heck, you're right. I didn't realise that TPC were making them, now. I just logged on to wizards.com/pokemon and was like 'whoa, where'd everything go?'
Most of the Pokemon cards, after Jungle sucked, so Wizards probably dropped them.
Yeah, that's, probably, what. Happened!
Either that or Nintendo ended their contract with them as it'd be cheaper and easier to produce them in-house.
