Illustrate Your Day

Posted by Dexter

This is where we can show pictures or share audio files expressing the many activities we do during our days. I think this thread will be enjoyable and interesting. I suggest linking us to your images.

I used my cell phone to take the following images.

I was working on my house project for most of the day, by myself, with plenty of snacks, while the ipod was playing on the ideck. I worked over 13 hours, but I never seemed to get tired or irritated with the work. I suppose I rarely do. I could have left whenever I wanted, but I was too committed to the job I had at paw. I progressed quite significantly and had a incredibly pleasant day.

This was the first and easiest project that I finished today. I knew it would be simple, so I thought it would be best to start with it and gradually move on to more difficult tasks. Fitting these appliances in their proper positions is harder than it looks, I assure you. You should have seen me with the stove last week! The most challenging aspect of this dishwasher was getting the pink wrapper off. It was jammed into the little crannies. I dedicate this final establishment to Sabredog.

Yeah, I finally got around to finishing the fireplace today. All that was left to do was gluing on the rocks. This was the quickest project of the day. I think the fireplace came out really nice and respectable looking. I impressed myself.

This was the final project of the day. I enjoy building stairways, decks, balconies, etc. Working with wood is okay with me. This was a much needed addition for now I have an easier way to get through the garage door. I'm going to miss jumping up there, though. I felt like Mario jumping through pictures with my tool belt on. I got all sorts of neat things attached to my belt. I'm more decked out than Mega Man. You should see how sexy Dexy looks with his tool belt on, rough looking jeans, shirt off in the sun, nailing down boards or putting up sheetrock with "Einmarsch" by Feindflug playing on the ideck. I swear more girls started walking their dogs down that street once I arrived. And with my own dogs occasionally running around, it only makes it look more adorable. Prepare to swoon.

Visiting the local Veterans' cemetery in town was the photogenic highlight of my day. Here are my favourite images from the excursion:

It was such a beautiful place, and seemed particularly delightful this time around. The soft, thriving grass felt so sensational on my footpaws, and the soggy wetness of the splendiferous atmosphere seemed to discourage all humanfolk from attempting to enjoy the well-kempt park's soul-succumbing tranquility. ^________^

Lovely images. Image 5 is remarkably poignant. That graveyard looks far more enchanting than my local graveyard. I find mine is too kept up. There are areas that are less kept up that I enjoy, particularly the spots where the grass is overgrown or extremely mossy areas. I've recently grown quite fond of moss. I hear that mixing moss with yogurt and applying it to outside objects will help moss grow quickly. There are actually a few graveyards close by that I have never ventured through. Maybe if I can find the time tomorrow I'll explore them and spend some time there writing. I'll be sure to take some pictures and share them in this thread that very night.

I was busy with school for most of the day. Finals are coming up soon and I was getting myself prepared for next term. But after school was finished for the day, a friend and I went grocery shopping and picked up a Friday night movie.

And there's the movie. I liked Catherine Cyran's 1993 film White Wolves: A Cry in the Wild II. I thought I owed it to her to watch this one.

The day's over, but here's how the rest of my night is looking.

As you probably have gathered, I'm just going to relax by the computer with some Wild Vine's Frutézia and Boone's Farm Apple Blossom with my companion Wolfy while I load those two Savage Garden CDs and Chumbawamba onto my ipod. I really should be defeating that Final Fantasy adventure, but I am far too tired to enjoy such an activity at the moment. Plus, I'm having some interesting conversations over AIM and writing my film review for the new adaptation of Pride & Prejudice. Such is the life of a single young Norwegian boy.

I was heading to my apartment today and I was lucky enough to witness some spectacular cloudscapes on the way home, easily worth stopping a few times and getting stills of.

Those roads look like they'd be fun to drive stupid fast on. Pretty much the only thing more fun than driving sideways is not touching the ground:cool:

That's the main reason I didn't dare even cross the road to take any of the pictures. Everyone drives like a maniac right down the centre of that road, myself included, around and over blind curves and hills. And yes, if you go fast enough, you can launch into the air on some of those rises, but you'd likely land in the trees.
