The Wolf - National Geographic Channel

Over the years the land once flourished with great trees became bare and unfarmable. Valuable soil was washed away and lost in streams and rivers. All because of one important predator that brings life to the everlasting green forest and the animals that live there - the wolf. Biologists realise how important the wolf is in forest survival. Wolf-hunting in the past was the sole reason that caused the forest to worsen and the only cure was to re-introduce the wolf back into the land. An excellent documentary.

I hope I can catch that on, sometime. Usually all I see on National Geographic are programmes covering boring subjects like advances in space exploration or experimental military weapons, but this particularly documentary sounds fascinating.
