I get PMed when I'm invited to a clan, when I start/lose/accept a PvP... Is there any way to disable this? It's also very confusing because I get PMs from myself saying stuff like "You have accepted your battle", which I already know I did because I JUST DID IT.

Yes, the first time around its confusing, but then you get use to it. Doesn't mattee that much. The title sais it all. Delete and go to your battle ;)
i got pm'd, by myself, saying that i had just been donated 100000 wackler, by myself. its confusing.
