i bought mario kart used so it didnt come with an instruction booklet, so can someone tell me how to do a power slide turbo boost.

Drift boost, or start boost?

Hold the "R" button going around turns to start drifting. Tap the directional pad towards the inside of your turn once to get blue sparks (no boost for this one), then tap towards the outside, then the inside once again to get red sparks. Releasing "R" will give you the boost.

Did you buy used or new? If new, I suggest your write to Nintendo and request an instruction booklet.

If you wanna do turbo boost:you press A after the 2 sign.
