Psmonkey/nexis (guy behind Iris, a nice third-person shooter in alpha) has created a very basic N64 emu - It runs a few public domain roms, and it also shows Waverace 64's N64 logo/bootscreen/whatever. He's going to keep adding to it, apparently.
yayy!
I'd buy a PSP just so I could play Goldeneye/OoT/good-n64-game on the road.
Hopefully it works.
I don't have high hopes for a N64 emulator until we can get a dedicated, good programmer working on it. Someone that actually knows how to use core memory and not just running the whole thing from normal, gross RAM. Non-kernal access emulators just suck, flat out.
Even Snes9xtyl?
Besides, PSmonkey seems like a competent fellow - He did write Iris from scratch, which looks very nice even at these early stages.
