That's right, children, I did photography and had a smoke afterwards. This is a collection of colour work, some real "photographs" and others just snaps. These were scanned from 4x6 colour prints, some of which are obviously developed wrong (and actually weren't my fault!). I used a completely manual Pentax K1000 w/ 80-200mm telescoping lens to take all of these shots. I'm not happy about how grainy they appear but I still liked some of them. Share yours if you want, also.

Yay. I might upload more later. And soon, I'll probably do some B&W ones too.
Must be a nice place to live - I've had little experience with deserts, so you can't blame me for yearning.
Mari is adorable etc. ^_^
Gah, just like I yearn for a more urban scenario. Even downtown Albuquerque isn't that exteme. Traffic is actually mild, there isn't much foot tracffic, and I think our tallest builing is like 35 stories, or so. LAME.
edit: Mari says "mrrrOW!"
I think that's "HIHIHI!" in catspeak.
Update: Some B&W photos, yay. These I took again on Unser, but further down the road, and some nearer to San Ysidro, a town between the mountains in one of the shots. One of Mari.
I did some portrait shots which I'll post if I get permission from the subject.

Cauliflower for 88 cents!
Deserts look better in black and white.
Sweet. The ones with mari are especially good, and I actually like the effect the graniness gives them. Kinda makes everything look sad and serious.
Yum yum cauliflower!
The grain is due to the fact I prefer to use 400 or 800 speed flim which has siginifigantly more grain than film traditionally used for outdoor shooting; colour 100 and 200 speeds. They're just not as flexible as a platform.
Again, if I recieve permission from my subject, I'll post the indoor and outdoor B&W portraits I did.
At first I thought the title said "Misoxeny does pornography". I was lied to! I DEMAND RETRIBUTION!
Really good shots btw. ;)
edit: I do the sex, but not for money. :(
Whee! Portraits! These were done indoors and out, on B&W 400 ISO film. I had to use a tripod because I used really slow shutter speeds.

Those were really the best of the roll I shot, but I may put a few more from that shoot up later. I'm also getting back another roll which I ran through my new Pentax ME Super, and if those are any good, they'll get posted too.
A few more things:

Near to San Ysidro.
That one made me quiet and sad. Good job. I think that is what good photography is supposed to do to me.
The female subject in question looks ****ed off in every picture. The cat is awesome. Deserts are depressing.:(
Overall, nice pictures.
Needs more Sepia.

I enjoy sepia much more than black and white.
oh, and shots look nice as well, provided I hadn't formated I could have pull ed some stuff off of my computer to show you guys as well.
The only problem I have with sepia is that it requires you use filters in conjunction with some pretty strong color film. As such, it makes shooting much more difficult and predictions with light meters innaccurate, depending on what you're doing.
I'll look in the fridge and if I have any 800 speed film, I'll try some sepia, but it's not as easy as "point and click" unfortunetly.
