I live near 20 minutes away from Fairmont, and 15 minutes away from Panorama. I have to love snowboarding. But yeah I do love it. Sadly, this year has been really bad for fresh powder. One day I went up to Pano and was coming dow nthe hill and it started to RAIN! Not snow but rain! Still I had fun.

Wrong place, I think.

I went snowboarding in my giant yard today. Awesome, but not enough snow.

I did snowboarding for a couple of years a while back, but I grew tired of hurting myself! :o

Australia generally doesn't have snow, and being that I have never travelled to the mountains in New South Whales or Victoria when snow is there, I have never had the chance to go snowboarding. Just being around snow one time would be a blast, I'd say.

Quoting Trigger: New South Whales

I lol'd.

Seriously, I've always wanted to try (since I'm fairly good at skateboarding, and, you know) but never really have. There's a dry ski slop like two blocks away from me, though. Might go at some point.

I've been meaning to go for a couple years, now. Possibly to Banff (hi coro!) if my friends ever go again.

Absolutely. I've been boarding for about 6 years now. My older sister got me into it back when we lived in Kalispell Montana. The mountains there were gorgeous. Even if I didn't like the actual boarding, I would still go just to explore the mountains.

Why would a snowboard when I can toboggan?

Posted by Vampnagel P. Wingpire

Good point. But crazy carpets are better.

Posted by Vampiro V. Empire

Even better point.

True, crazy carpets, tobaggens, and GT's are kick ass but I'd still take snowboarding over them anyday.
