I am looking for a game called CLIFF HANGER. It plays much like Dragon's Lair. It stars Lupin from the Lupin the 3rd Anime cartton... but he's been renamed Cliff.

I believe this is the right game, I'm not sure.
That NES game isn't anime-styled (Lupin, however, is), and plus, the game he's describing is in an arcade cabinet. Plus, he posted this in the arcade board.

as that page suggests though there are only 9 known owners in the us... but that is known by the fact there are 9 colectors who have stated they have it... could appear by an unknown :D
the only suggestions i can give to find the game if you want it for ownership is to
A: check ebay... you never know it may appear
B: do a google search for owners of the game.. see if they wish to sell
