What if we had, in addition to our avatar, a sound clip that other people could click on and listen to? It just seems like the next logical step in customizing our profiles.

I recall a site (one of hyper's, I think) where you could upload or link to an midi that played while someone was viewing your profile. Frankly, I don't see why not, if it's just something as weenie as an midi.

Because a userpage, shoutbox, custom avatar, custom user fields, etc, aren't enough, right? Jesse has one of the most lenient boards I've ever used and I don't think we need to pester him for more.

Seriously, though, VgChat is going to have to make some technological advancements eventually- to me, adding sound seems the next best choice.
And about the rpg stats, that's not a good comparison, it was just a gimmick to make huge posters feel more important than they already were.

First of all, I have no clue how to add a sound to my avatar. Second of all, if we had sounds, then all I would hear in the forums is fart sounds and the versions of the word "****." Lastly, It’s a stupid idea to begin with.
