Disturbing fact about Earthbound

Posted by Klarth

"Shigesato Itoi has revealed in interviews that Giygas' dialogue was inspired by a traumatic childhood experience wherein he mistakenly walked into an adult movie theatre playing a rape scene."

Make of that what you will.

Posted by Ant

LOL! That's pretty funny actually.

Hearing that almost makes me want to play the game.

Almost.

What's wrong with the game?

Posted by Poco

Posted by Arczu

Uh... what?

I never played it, but even if I had, I never would have thought of that.

Almost everything.

Well, that explains everything about the game except the battle system.

And the critical and miss percentages.

srsly. battles are like

"NESS SWUNG BAT"

"MISS'

"NESS SWUNG BAT"

"MISS"

"NESS SWUNG BAT"

"MISS"

"NESS SWUNG BAT"

"NESS DEFEATED ENEMY"

'The next battle'

"NESS SWUNG BAT"

"CRITICAL"

Posted by WILLETH FOR MONTHS

I wonder if it'll be Revo-downloadable?

Posted by Ant

It's crazy popular in Japan. So I know it will be there, elsewhere though...I'm thinking yes.

Posted by WILLETH FOR MONTHS

Yeah, but in English, though?

Posted by Klarth
