The skins look cool, but personally I don't think the skins suit the DS...

I remember reading an article about something like this a few months ago in NP.
Its still a great resort for those who choose to change the look of their DS nontheless. I am buying a black or white DS, I cannot decide though! Although I do already own one. :)

I would get Apocalypse Green or Aqua. **** those look tight. Or blue quantum waves, or maybe the emerald one... Oooh, or mirror green chrome.

Yuck, skins look awful on the DS. Although I suppose if you had a red DS and put a red-ish skin on it (or blue with blue-ish, or any other matched with a similar skin) it would look ok.

I agree with Nich, to a degree... many of these seem pretty generic and uninteresting to me. i couldnt wait long enough, so when my stepdad sold his game cube, i took the skins (resident evil 4 skins) and cut them up to fit the outside front of my ds. i think its pretty cool myself. if and when i get a scanner, ill show it to you
I put an Apple sticker on my DS, I hate plain-old platinum.
Oh man i want those screen protectors.
Even the DS case can be scratched somewhat easily- a skin not only looks better than the platinum, it's a effective way of protection.

I know what you mean. There are a few gems (for me, pretty much just the ones mentioned in my post), but otherwise, they're all pretty dumb-looking.

The default skins on the DS's look a lot slicker.

I found myself much more interested in the iPod Mini skins. I wish they had the one with part of the Sistene Chapel on it, or the Gears one for it so bad... And Path to the Stars or whatnot looked nicest on platinum DS to me. If you have a pink DS, you must really like pink, but you're screwed for skins that actually add something to it.
I have a silver DS, and I used the decals from my brother's Mario Kart DS. It won't let me post pictures, but I put the two flame stickers on the outside and Mario's logo in the middle. (of the top cover)

Aha, I'm better than you! I have a red ds. I got the Mario Kart decals and it looks cool! this is all on the cover, flames on the sides, and rocket boost near the top and powerslide on the bottom. It looks pretty cool. But anyway, my friend would love the dragon breath, cause his name on there is Dragon. Mine is way cooler, mine is Envy. And my message is I'm a deadly sin. I'm better that thou! So ha!

But seriously, I would hate to have stickers/decals on my DS. It just makes it look...ridiculous. If I were to change my DS, I'd send it in to a professional color changer, but that's hard to do with a DS, methinks. Besides, I like my scratched up silverness.
