discuss your job
im currently workin at la rosas pizza only makin $5.50 an hour, but its all good, its some money.
My JOB includes dusting, straightening and stocking the shelves in a supermarket. The exact title is "General Merchandise clerk" - about half of the time spent working, we're approached by customers and asked nearly every question you could think of asking that deals with food. I'm paid $6.25 an hour, with an average of 26 hours per week.
im a student i dont have a job
lol
I work for cingular wireless and listen to people ***** about their cellphones all day. It pays well.
I'm currently a live at home college student, so I don't really need a job. I plan on getting one at FYE once the mall opens back up (it's been closed since Hurricane Rita and will continue to be so until this January). During the Summers I work construction in Dallas to get enough money to pay for books and actual fun stuff.
handjob
Student, again. :p
I babysit for my aunt who can't afford to pay me.
I am a steel worker. Grah! GOD DAMN I'M TOUGHT! It pays $10 an hour.
Actually, Lord of Spam, I do a lot of the stuff on the shop floor, like moving the steel and finding the parts. Right now I'm moving 7,000 little green extrusions into 233 1/2 egg cartons. God it's taking forever. :(
Maybe it would take less time if you werent posting.
lol I'm a student and have two jobs!
My favourite job is the Veterinary Assistant. It includes walking, feeding, generally taking care of the boarding animals (cats, dogs, budgies), cleaning the examining rooms after each exam if possible, cleaning the grooming room, closing the clinic (sweep, mop etc.), holding down animals for removing/replacing IV's, etc. Later on I'll probably have a few more duties, but that's mainly it.
My second job is working as a petstore employee. I clean, feed, take care of the animals (cats, dogs, birds, rodents, lizards etc.) stock, label, package various products, work the till, aid customers. That type of thing.
I work at a restaurant (steak house, by the way!) as a busboy, and I make $7.00 CAD ($6.04 USD) an hour, plus tips. The money I make in tips can range from anywhere between $25 to $60 CAD ($21.58 to $51.81 USD) in one night. It's a pretty fun job, and I get a huge discount on food!
He still is for thinking it up to begin with. :)

I recently quit my job as an inbound sales and service representative.:)
I work maintaining my uncle's website for $7.00 an hour, and also make $14.00 an hour making amps for a local audio technican. Despite the rate of pay, I'm probably going to quit because I'm not fond of the odd rate of work.
Im a part-time manager at Kohls Department store. Not sure what my pay is gonna jump up to, prolly around 9-10 dollars/hour. I will be taking all the merchandise in the back-stock and bringing it to the floor. Right now Im the manager for the team that takes the frieght that was off loaded from the truck and put it out on the floor. Right now I make 7.75 and work from 30-38 hours a week.
I'm an online chemistry tutor and a resident assistant in a freshman dorm on campus.
Unemployed at the moment, but I intend to get a summer job next year.Nothing taxing, it'd just be nice to get some money coming in.
My job, huh? Well, time for the great revelation:
Haha, I have fooled you all. I am actually Bill Gate$, and I am now going to buy out thi$ web$ite!
Wouldn't it be really cool if Bill Gates actually typed dollar signs instead of S's?
Dude, you're Bill Gate$. You dont pay people to do thing$, you just execute ho$tile take over$.
Hahaha, even Vin Dei$il would be hard pressed to lift an Xbox. There'$ no chance a little nerd liek you could.
Although, I do fear your lawyer army, so I'll stop now.
Bill Gates, XBox Is Huge, AND Vin Diesel? Whoa, I think we've gone too far. The rest of the thread should be limited to serious discussion about the world of careers.

I consider myself a self employed lazy axx!
I consider myself a self employed lazy wacko!
er both of us are webmasters!
Im a truck driver and it pays 87 cents every mile and i avg. about 15,000 miles every 2 weeks. You do the math.
You drive 1071 miles a day for $932.14 in two weeks or $466.07 in one? :(
I am a cook at hooters (college hooters, it's better) and a gas station clerk thing
I work in a tourist surf shop on the beach, and since it is winter, I am lucky to get $30 in a week. :'( I cry inside.
I used to work at the local ahrware store. Now I work at higher grounds cofee after school for 2 hours each day, then 6 hours on saturday, then 8 hours on sunday. Good job. I get $8.95/h Don't forget I live in Canada guys. I had to tell you last time :p .
IT's a nice job though. Very easy going, they even gave me their old "rent-a-laptop" thingy. So its really nice. I also get free cofee. I got taught how to use all the machines (their are 2000000000000000000 of them). I also have a deal made that I work half my summer hours in return more live music. I'll be playing the saxophone. ON TOP of that I get paid an extra $5 /h for working/fixing/updating the wireless internet and kepping the antivirus's up to date. Then when they were re-modeling I got paid an extra $4.50/h for helping fix the tables/chairs/ and cabinets.
I LOVE THIS JOB. HARDWARE STORE SUXED!!!!!!
I work at a local Zaxby's (chicken fast food-ish place), cooking stuff. Mostly chicken wings and toast. I've only been working there about a month, and I make $6.50 an hour. It's not that bad, really, since everything we make is fresh so it's really not gross fast food. It sucks when you have to cut the fresh vegetables, though. I've spent about 3 hours one time just standing in one spot cutting mushrooms.
Worked as a labor man till the cold crept in. Lupus isnt good to have out in the cold for hours at a time(cold hands..)
